Experiences
Palazzo A Mauro was made for shared experiences, and Salento around it offers more than a house alone can hold. A carefully chosen circle of local chefs, photographers, and guides opens the territory to guests — its kitchens, its streets, its quieter corners — with the same warmth that shapes life inside the palazzo. Each experience is optional, arranged in advance, and designed to be enjoyed together.
Truffle Hunting
Before the sun is high, a restaurateur from the hills above Corigliano sets out with his dogs, reading the woods for what the season has buried. What the morning reveals comes straight back to the palazzo — cleaned in the kitchen, cooked without rush, and carried to a long lunch meant to be drawn out slowly, among the people who make the table feel full.
Market and Kitchen
The market in Corigliano changes week by week — broad beans and asparagus in spring, tomatoes heavy with sun in summer, chicory when the cold settles in. Mornings are spent choosing what looks best that day; afternoons gather everyone around the long table, rolling pasta by hand and tasting as you go.
A Walk With a Photographer
A photographer who knows Corigliano by heart leads a walk through its streets — the ironwork, the doorways, the small details only revealed on foot. Each guest photographs what catches their eye, and before departure, one image per person is printed to take home.
Lecce and Beyond
The territory reaches well past Corigliano — the baroque courtyards of Lecce, the countryside threaded with ancient olive groves, stories that belong to this corner of Puglia alone. Guided walks open those layers together, one turn at a time.
Every experience is arranged in advance, shaped around your dates and your group. And if you have something else in mind, we'd be delighted to create it with you — when you write, tell us the experience you're dreaming of, and we'll do our best to bring it to life.
